I have created this website in hopes of assisting golfers at all levels of the game to better understand their golf process!
It’s hard for me to believe that I have been teaching the game of golf for 40 years. I am currently employed at Wine Valley Golf Club (my favorite place in the world) in Walla Walla, Washington, where I see avid golfers who are passionate about their game and the game of golf. I have also worked at Emerald Valley GC in Eugene, Oregon area, Tri-City Country Club located in Kennewick, Washington, Whidbey G & CC, Useless Bay G & CC and Columbia Park GC. I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve at each of these facilities and the support I have received from these very special places. Needless to say I still treasure the relationships with the members and guests at each of these facilities.
I have been very fortunate to work with many very talented players, but the majority of my teaching has been with beginning and novice players who have chosen to play the game of a lifetime. I believe it is paramount that a player has a solid grasp of fundamentals of their own golf swing and understand thoroughly the concepts of ball flight laws. Each player is truly unique! My teaching style varies from student to student and is tailored to their learning style. At times my teaching can be technical, at times philosophical, but at all times it is about communicating with the student and making the connection that makes them understand that golf is a process of continual improvement. There is not perfect in golf. Players will always hit good and bad shots…the trick if there is one is not to let those shots upset the process! This is what I really enjoy teaching students.
Golf is a Process Each Player Must Learn!
